FOOL
RANK:

"Personas are just facets... They don't necessarily equal your whole self. At least, not for everyone."

Minako hails from the same world as Yu, though her explanation behind the strange events requiring the usage of Personas differs slightly. No televisions are involved. A friendly and cheerful girl around his age, she reminds him of a more level-headed Yuzu. After swapping memories with her during the Strings entanglement fiasco, he got a much closer look at her life than he ever could have expected. From this experience, he's developed a healthy degree of respect for this cheerful girl.

MAGICIAN
RANK:

"Someone like me is much more suited to an active kind of job, don't you think?"

An unusually intelligent boy with a penchant for clever banter, Hizumi seems to have his own ideas about the circumstances surrounding Hinoto-Ri. Atsuro isn't quite sure what to make of him, given that their conversations often devolve into silly teasing, which, while entertaining, fails to provide a strong sense of character. In the months since he's known him, Atsuro has come to realize that Hizumi is not, in fact, human, but hails from a distant race of underwater Taiko Drum Masters.

EMPEROR
RANK:

"We're in a crisis! We have no time for games!"

Seemingly a straightforward military commander of some sort, Ludwig fought alongside Atsuro on their first mission during the night of the full moon. Their Personas awakened nearly simultaneously when they found themselves in dire straits. Since then, they've participated in several battles together, bringing an unusual synergy to bear. Despite this, Atsuro still knows little about the man himself...

EMPEROR
RANK:

"If you need to learn how to fight with bullet, blade, mind or hand, seek out Cerberus. I shall instruct you on how to not completely embarrass yourself when asked to fight."

A slightly less straightforward military commander of some sort. Hailing from an era far (far) into the future spanning a length of years entirely incomprehensible to Atsuro's mind, Garviel is a machine built for war in a time when implantation of 19 organs and heavy steroid abuse is apparently par for the course. ...The man's origins aside, Atsuro's thoughts on Garviel and his future reads like a list of status effects: fear, confusion, and vague illness. Some things were too alien to be easily accepted, if at all.

LOVERS
RANK:

"It wasn't easy to leave you guys, you know? It is nice to know there's a world out there somewhere where we're all still friends. "

Yuzu Tanikawa, the third member of the trio that had vowed to make it through the Lockdown together. ...Or so Atsuro had thought. It seemed that their world, with so many possibilities stretching open before Kazuya... inevitably, there were some that led to a difference of opinion. Knowing that he himself would follow Kazuya regardless of the path chosen, Atsuro isn't sure whether or not his actions can be considered loyal or simply foolhardy. The Yuzu Tanikawa in Hinoto-Ri now hails from a world where the Demon King Kazuya decided to kill humans; as a result, she is wary of her former friends. Regardless of her thoughts on the matter, though, Atsuro is determined that things can continue just as they did before.

CHARIOT
RANK:

"So far, no one has keeled over. I suppose it is safe to assume that the food is not immediately life-threateningly poisoned. ...Unless it's a slow acting one."

Though the same age as Atsuro, Yamato carries himself with a imperious air that cannot be denied. He claims to have come from a family dedicated to fighting off the demonic threat in an alternate Japan; others hailing from the same world have confirmed a similar situation to the demon invasion in Atsuro's own world. Yamato seems to be trustworthy enough despite his frosty exterior.

CHARIOT
RANK:

"Hero?! I'm not cut out to be a hero! If this were a video game, I'd just be some NPC standing on the side of the street!"

Hailing from the same world as Yamato and Kaito, Daichi endured his own demon invasion and seems to have come out of it relatively unscathed - crippling lack of confidence notwithstanding. Atsuro doesn't blame him. Had Yuzu not been around to be terrified enough for everyone in their party combined, he certainly would have felt the same way. Still, he has come to understand that Daichi has certain strengths that don't necessarily lie in combat; Atsuro has tried to give encouragement when he can. Sidekicks have to stick together.

TEMPERANCE
RANK:

"I'm Magical Dolly, the Warrior of Love! My magical punishment strikes all demons who do evil!"

Formerly known to Atsuro as an Internet-famous cam-girl, Magical Dolly was caught in the Lockdown in a cosplay outfit, assumedly during a con. After running into a few... difficulties on her quest in meting magical punishment, she chose to accompany the main trio. He admires Midori for her good heart and sense of empathy, as she continues to aid even those who choose to shun her. He also thinks he ought to set her up with Keisuke. They haven't run into each other much in Hinoto-Ri, though she surprised him with a gift in the hospital after the fiasco with the tangled Strings.

TEMPERANCE
RANK:

"It... It's a cosplay prop!"

During the Invasion of the Masked Scorpions Part III: The Rise of the Dark Dominatrix, Atsuro ran into a cosplayer suffering from the effects of an unnaturally induced Fear. Since then, he and Nano have consistently formed something of an odd duo; the girl's desire to be of help despite her obvious discomfort inspires no little amount of affection in those around her. Through battles with Nightmares and Anoli attacks, he and Nano have learned to trust and rely on each other, and their efforts have unlocked a strange power... Though he does not fully understand the implications, it seems clear that it is representative of the bond between them. More recently, Nano summoned the courage to inform Atsuro of her true feelings, which had been obvious to everyone but Atsuro himself; after much deliberation, he had been forced to acknowledge that he could not reciprocate. They chose to give each other some space for a few weeks, but their friendship appears to have survived intact.

TOWER
RANK:

"I've watched man for endless ages. Pin your hopes on the masses, and you'll only be betrayed."

The accursed first murderer. For years, Atsuro looked up to the cousin of his best friend, proclaiming him the most incredible hacker the world had ever seen. With the revelation of the truth behind the demon invasion, Atsuro's trust in the man he had so idolized was shattered. Their relationship had been nothing more than a farce, an elaborate manipulation to set up Naoya's plans. He was to play his part in helping Abel achieve true power as the King of the Bels... and that was all. Even in the world this Naoya had come from, his actions had been the same.

Yet even knowing this, he can't help but wish that it had been otherwise. Though he may have meant next to nothing to the man who had so easily manipulated him, Naoya had still been his friend.

MOON
RANK:

"There you go! Humans rock."

The de facto leader of the group of Devil Survivors on the parallel world, Kaito is... more insouciant than Atsuro would have expected him to be. They've run into each other several times since their first arrival here, and the other boy has always served to make himself memorable. There is a mystery here that Atsuro would love to be able to puzzle out - It can't be merely a coincidence that two different worlds would face such similar catastrophes, right?

BROKEN LINKS
THE STRINGS OF FATE THAT HAVE BEEN LOST...

EMPEROR
RANK:

"Of course we're cool. We're practically glaciers we're so cool."

Kazuya Minegishi. Atsuro's best friend. Also coincidentally the reincarnation of Abel and now, in the world this Kazuya hailed from, the King of Demons. The ramifications of this choice are not lost on Atsuro - he had given it just as much thought as his best friend, and early on, he had come to a certain conclusion. No matter what Kazuya decided, he would support him 100%. And though this Kazuya hails from a different world, with a slightly different personality, having chosen a different path... He is Kazuya nonetheless. Atsuro's closest friend and the one he trusts above all others.

Following a discussion one day about the true meaning of his dual demon/human nature, Kazuya disappeared. He hopes that his friend has been able to find some measure of peace back in his own world.

TOWER
RANK:

"I like to keep my options wide open myself - It's... exhilarating. At least it would be my mistake and not somebody else's."

Their relationship didn't begin on the best of terms - calling someone a witch, no matter how true it might be, just isn't a great idea. Since then, mutual assistance and constant banter have forged a reliable friendship. Or, at least, a partnership. Their unusual emotional connection was brought to light when the two of them were confronted by an enemy of prodigious strength; the manifestation of their Dual Persona came as a brief beacon of hope in their struggle. Despite agreeing to dismiss it as sappy nonsense, neither of them are terribly upset that friendship can apparently be weaponized here. Somehow or other, the witch came to be one of his closest friends in this strange world. Atsuro wasn't terribly surprised when Misery moved on one day; he had never thought she would be interested in staying for the long term. A note would have been nice, though.
